Burgers’ Thanksgiving 2020

“I will give thanks to Your name, O Lord, for it is good.” —Psalm 54:6b

“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.” —Philippians 4:4–8

  • Meet Zach! What began as a friendship 4 years ago blossomed into a marriage. Zach surprised me with a proposal on Feb. 25, 2020, and we were married outside at Zach’s parents farm (thanks to COVID) on May 30.
  • We are renting in Colfax, IN, and are in the process of purchasing a home there. We can’t wait to meet honeymoon-baby Elliott in March or April of 2021!
  • Christ the King Church in Thorntown is growing, and Zach and I continue to enjoy working on music together there.
  • I am working as a receptionist at the Thorntown Veterinary Clinic, and Zach is packaging meat as a butcher’s apprentice at This Old Farm in Colfax.
  • We love having company! Let us know if you’re in the area. 317-459-5616 (Ruth).
